| Personal History | Born in the mountains of Tennessee, Billy Jo was always fascinated with things that moved fast: cars, bikes, trains, ships, etc. When other girls were playing with cars, Billy Jo was playing with model cars and planes. She would put together models and, when she grew older, she would play with models that would fly. She learned electronics and ship design. For a while she worked in the design department at a fleet yard and worked her way up to project manager. However, an opportunity to switch to personnel came available and she took a lateral transfer. That brought her to Typhon as the head of Personnel, but when the head of the Fleet Yards transferred, she was given command. Now, she runs the Athena Shipyards, located near Starbase Typhon. She oversees the design and construction of new ships and the rebuilding and redesign of older ones. When she has the time, she will design new craft for Starfleet. She has her own personal shuttle, a Type 11 painted a metallic pink named the Pussycat. |
