| General Overview | Lurch is a man of some mystery; he is a full blood Orion and a Federation Citizen. The reason he is a mystery is because despite a deep resounding voice he is not one to speak more than needed. Though his stoic face does change with strong emotions ; mostly his belief in something being wrong and he is prone to groans and other subtle exasberated tones. He has a dedication to his Commanding Officer and takes his duties very seriously. While he moves slowly it is a deliberate action as he is also known to just 'appear' when called for or needed. It has been questioned if there is some Empath in his gene pool to some degree as he is always on the spot when needed and sometimes before called. He is intimidating by his stature only as he does make efforts to do his tasks with a soft touch; he is what is commonly called a gentle Giant. It is not a quesation of his strength nor his coordination as he has played on the Federation Basketball team while attending the Academy, averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds per game average throughout his career. Lurch has a shyness to him as well as a 'soft spot' for situations and if someone he caresd about gives some 'sob story' Lurch tends to cave into the request. He also follows his orders as stated, it is never with intimidation but he does assure his assignment is completed with a gentle but firm hand. He is a charming in a subtle way and polite manners that are a mark of Orion service training that he extends in all his duties. |
