Roman Charon was very pleased. The work on the main building complete and several days ahead of schedule. The main floor of the casino was completed and work on the gallery and main gaming room was starting. His chief architect Harold Jones was also pleased and scurrying about the place making adjustments to plans as needed. The ground build team for Avalon had reached Seven Hundred and would be growing soon with additional workers arriving soon. Foundations for the Two towers would be set in the next few days and start going up quickly. Landscapers moved in and determined to get to work despite all the heavy equipment rolling around.
Roman moved through and making a few notes on decoration drawings in his padd. He had a vision of a large fountain or water fall in the main gaming room but it was shot down cold by his design team, it required far to much real water and would have to be done as a hologram if done and approved at all. Roman was in charge of the Avalon project but couldn’t make any changes to the original plans approved by the corporation…. At times this was difficult for him but he knew he didn’t really want to mess with the people he had met last year.
He was getting ready to have a party soon with the contractors and was inviting several Starfleet officers to the resort to see their recent progress. He knew the support he received was vital the development. He had inspected the main shuttle pad landing area. It was very large and had parking areas for fairly large craft hidden in a large forested area. It was complete with a small maintenance shop for small repairs for their guests if needed. It was looking very good.
