Mabrade had taken so much of his time with the preparations for the whole festival that he almost forgot to attend to some business that was not strictly on the official books but had some weight to it of course.

Pressing the controls so not to have to go through the communication Section. He waited for the other end to ring through.

"This is Billy Jo, what can I do for you?" she said in a polite Southern drawl.

"Hello Billy Jo, Captain Mabrade here." He said with a grin. "Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner but been kind of tied up with arrangements." He chuckled. "With this cultural thing I was wondering if you were going to be coming over to check it out?"

"Hey, Captain," she said, "Should I ask if she was blonde, brunette, or redhead?" she asked.

"A gentleman never tells, that is what you said was among the things you like in a man." He replied with a sly grin.

"Sorry, darlin', I said fidelity was what I liked in a man," she countered. "You can ask my second husband."

"It is good to know we got that established as one of my good traits." He replied. "I have been faithfully keeping in touch have I not?"

She chuckled. "Skirting the question, Captain. A sure sign you have something to hide." She pulled up a file and sent it to the Captain. "Since you're going to ask, here are the specs on your three little sabres."

"Thank you." Mabrade replied. "I am glad to have them yet that is not what I was going to ask. Care to make another guess?" He smiled in a sly way.

"Not if you're gonna talk about being tied up," she countered.

"I thought I would interest you in a little bit of home?" Mabrade did not give away any more.

"That depends on what part of home you're talking about. If it's grits and hog calling, you might have my interest."

"I did not see Hog calling." Mabrade chuckled. "I am sure Grits will be somewhere in the Earth Culture but I can buy you cotton candy and real Ice Cream if you like?" He offered. "Of course that means you would have to mingle with me a little of course?"

Billy Jo couldn't help laughing at his comment. "Well, honey, I'll just have to take my chances. I haven't had real ice cream in a coon's age."

"That is too long in my opinion." HE had a thought about Lady Ebele's restaurant and if they have real drinks maybe other things as well? "I look forward to you coming across. " I am told there will be a good portion of earth cuisine to choose from as well?"

"Now how could I say no to an offer like that?" Billy Jo said. "When does this shindig get started?"

"I have ceremonial duty until near lunch time; if you can wait I'll meet you for lunch and we can go from there?"

"I've got a mess of paperwork to do, so that'll give me time to get caught up," Billy Jo said. "See you for lunch, then."
