Captain Fannin was checking out the giant view screen. Yeoman James was sending for Commander Mialin to arrive..

Dea made her way to the Captain's Ready Room and rang the door chime. While she was waiting Dea checked to make sure everything was in order with her uniform.

After receiving permission to enter. "Lieutenant Commander Mialin reporting as ordered Sir." She relaxed her stance only slightly.

"Hi Dea, hows things been going down with the Wing?" Fannin grabbed a cup of hot coffee, "Can I get you something?

Thinking about his question for a moment, "A fruit juice sounds good. The Wing is doing fine. At this point we're all still getting used to each other. On top of that I"m getting used to a new assignment, but things are going as well as can be expected."

"How are your quarters? They are nicer here than on a fleet vessel. I'm sure that things at the wing will level out soon."

A smile formed and Dea laughed slightly, "Yes they are nicer. Its just that I haven't spent much time in them at this point in time." Taking a sip of her juice.

If you get the chance perhaps you send a few sorties down to Tiberius V and shake those Marines up a bit with a few flyovers"

Nodding Dea answered as if she'd been thinking along similar lines, "That can easily be arranged. I've been working up good ideas for ways to stretch our skills in a more real setting. Simulators are good but they can't prepare you for everything."

"True, I t would be great practice for your Pilots, the air space is all yours Commander. Just don't drop any ordinance down there as their trying to clean the terrain up right now."

"Copy that Sir," Dea responded as she finished up her juice then stood to leave.

"It was good seeing you Dea, you can stop by anytime and talk. I look forward to seeing your pilots tearing around."

Dea responded with a slight smile, "Thank you Sir. I'm looking forward to stretching my wings a bit." With that she exited the Captain's Ready Room.
