Fannin was in the mood for some good tea and a hot bowl of Oriental noodles. He had heard there was a new place to test out....

Aeshia smiled, when she saw Captain Fannin, easily recognizing the man. "You welcome here. You get discount."

"Why thank you, I shall be coming here often then."

Aeshia smiled again. "You want tea?"

"Yes, Yes bring me your finest tea! I can't wait to drink your brew. And your best dish."

"My finest tea not for customers. I drink it. But you aren't customer." Aeshia said with a nod. "I make you some of Aeshia's tea, and some stir fry. It will be good."

"Outstanding, I can't wait Aeshia. How long have you been here on the Typhon?"

"Less than more than one day." Aeshia said. The Translator did a horrible job at translating Japanese time phrases.

"Well let me welcome you, We need more young business people here for our community to grow. How did you get here?"

"Private Shuttle. Hitodama. It not fly again. Warp pod fall off. Then replicator fell out. The other warp pod fall off. Then main window fall out, and Aeshia fly out open window onto deck. Then Hatch fall off. Now scrap heap, is the Hitodama." Aeshia said, as she sprinkled a few herbs into the pot of tea, and stirred the frying stir fry.

"That's very sad Aeshia, can the Hitodama be repaired? maybe I could help. We have many good engineers here on Typhon.

"It old. Older than me. Almost as old as Dad." Aeshia said, sounding doubtful.

"I'll tell you what, I'll go take a look at it for you. Then you can decide."

"You fix Hitodama, you get free food and tea." Aeshia replied.

"I'll take a look at it tomorrow, and see if I can get a few free cups of tea."

"You get free tea now. I want tea too. This is my tea. You not tell anyone about Aeshia tea. Or you not get anymore." She noted.

"No problem, our secret."

Aeshia nodded. "Stir fry be ready soon. You prefer bland, sweet, or spicy?"

"Definitely sweet."

"Sweet is good. It will be good." Aeshia said with a nod.

"The Tea is the best I've ever had, very tasty. What's in it."

"Aeshia secret recipe. Not tell anyone. Not even you." She replied.

"Aaah, old Chinese secret recipe. I've heard of those."

"Japanese. Not Chinese!" She exclaimed, slightly annoyed.

Fannin knew he really screwed up as soon as he saw her face... "Sorry I meant Japanese of course."

"You not do it again, or I empty hot pot of tea on your head." Aeshia yelled.

"No I don't think I'll be making that mistake again." Fannin reached under the table and found comfort touching his old Thirty Eight caliber revolver firmly stuck in his boot....

"Then it is forgiven. But you no do it again." She said, shaking her finger at Fannin in a disapproving manner.

The captain nodded and began to eat as quietly as possible....

"It is all good, then. The food is good as well?" Aeshia asked.

"This is truly wonderful, tastes very good."

"This is good." She said with a nod. She looked into the pot of tea leaves, and stared into the pot.

Fannin tried not to stare.. he continued to eat his dinner. He wondered what the hell she was up to, It looked like she was going to burn her eyebrows off...

"I see lots in the future of your affairs." She said in an older dialect of Japanese, which the translator had a little less problems with. "Tea Leaves say stir fry would be better with carrots, and that you will like it better this way. They also say you will explode many things, and many things unexplode. You have an eventful future."

Edward nodded his head not sure what to make of the reading but kept his comments to himself. He wasn't sure if he could ask specific questions as he would be interested in knowing when he would get his next pay raise...

"You want sugar cookie with tea?" Aeshia asked.

"Sure, me likey cookies"

"That not nice. You make fun of my accent. Go fix universal translator, so customer understand more than every few words." Aeshia retorted.

Fannin grabbed his cookies and stood. "I'll mention the translator to my chief engineer, Thank you for the fun meal. I'll let you know what I find out about the Hitodama."

"Thank you." Aeshia said.

Fannin left a good tip and headed for the door a swift as a June bug hitting a bug zapper...

"What a strange man." Aeshia muttered, as she stirred the pot of tea.
