Fannin turned to the Administrative Ensign at her console. "Can you please inform Ambassador Lenar I'm requesting a meeting from him of a most urgent matter. Let me know when he responds, also gather the data and location of that mine field from ops and get that set up."

Edward left the ready room and was headed for the Ambassadors Embassy office..

Faron was sitting at his wife's desk. She was busy elsewhere. "Captain. What do I owe the pleasure?" Faron asked.

"Unfortunately there has been a mishap. One of our Razors has struck a Romulan cloaked mine. I was uncertain if the Romulan Ambassador was on the station yet, but would like you to lodge a formal complaint with their government."

"I'll need all the technical details so I can file the formal complaint properly, including any and all signatures that define it as clearly Rihannsu. I'll have a chat with the Ambassador, if they are available. Otherwise, I do know a few contacts in the Rihannsu government, who will be most unhappy to hear from me, if I bring such tidings." Faron said with a nod. "But I'll be happy to bear the tidings regardless."

"Let me know how that go's for you. At the very least they need to locate and clear those mines."

"That could most likely be arranged." Faron said with a nod.

"Thank you Faron, I knew I could count on you assistance with this matter. I would rather keep a low profile with them just yet."

"An interesting idea, Captain Fannin. Especially as the Rihannsu, much like the Klingons, would rather deal with a warrior, than a pacifist." Faron noted.

"I know them very well Faron. They fear the weak, as they never know when we will strike back. It is my intention to strike back in a form they shall not expect."

Faron simply nodded. Tactics were not his thing. "I will get on filing that report immediately, Captain."

"Thank you Faron." Fannin turned and left the Ambassadors office.
