Basil had called Krang and told him that Anna had woken up and was asking to see him, so he hurried to the infirmary.

Standing by her bed, Krang took her hand and spoke softly, "Anna?"

Anna smiled and squeezed his hand. "I was hoping you would come by." she said, "Is the station holding together okay without me?" She asked half teasing and half wanting to know.

"It's been crazy, but we're managing. Basil got on top of the outbreak pretty fast and the symptoms only cause two small riots. All in all, it could have been a lot worse." he replied.

"Good," Anna said. "I hope I'm out of here soon, I'm sure there is a mountain of PADDs to sort through on my desk already." She said, "Plus I was hoping for some more time with you."

"Mountain is putting it lightly, and spending time together sounds like a nice idea to me too."

Anna smiled again, "Good, I still want to get to know you a bit better." She said.

Krang gave what passed for a smile and said, "Goodness only knows why, but I'll not argue with that."

"Because you have a wonderful heart Krang," Anna answered, "Something I've seemed to ignore in the past when I've started relationships. I don't want to get hurt again."

"I hope I never hurt you either." he replied.

"When I get out of here we can maybe go grab a bite to eat. I know the food here comes from the replicator just like in my quarters but it never seems the same." Anna said with a bit of a chuckle.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Krang answered.

"Can you sit with me for a while or do you need to get back to work?" Anna asked.

Krang gave her hand a small squeeze. "I can stay a little while. My staff and the medical staff have things well in hand."

Anna smiled, "Good," she said but her eyes started to drift closed but she didn't let go of his hand.

Krang pulled a seat over with his free hand and sat down.
