"I'm glad," she said. As Ian was concentrating on the concert, she didn't talk to him. She moved a bit so she was on more of an incline and could sit more comfortably and continued to enjoy the concert.

Ian looked at her again and smiled. "You could lean against me if that would make you more comfortable. I promise I won't bite."

"Thanks," Raven replied, settling comfortably against him. "I'm not worried about you biting," she said with a chuckle, "But are you sure I don't?"

"No," he said with a wink as he moved a little to more comfortable with her next to him. "This band is pretty good. I'll have to look for some of their songs in the database later."

"You'll find all their music in the database," Raven confessed. "I put it there." She smiled at him and then focused on the band. She had to admit, she was enjoying herself.

Ian focused on the music but found his attention drifting to Raven. He was enjoying himself and having her beside him was a pleasant feeling. He smiled contentedly and listened to the music again.

The night grew a little chilly. At some point during the concert, Raven cuddled up to Ian and lay her head on his shoulder.

Ian put his arm around Raven when he felt her shiver. "An extra blanket will have to be added to the program as well," he said to her between songs.

Raven nodded. "Computer, blanket." Another blanket appeared next to them. She sat up and spread it over both of them, then went back to where she was before. She hoped Ian didn't mind, but she was enjoying cuddling with him.

Ian smiled as he adjusted the blanket slightly. "You having a good time?" he asked her.

Raven looked up at him and smiled. "Yes, I am. How about you?"

"As a matter of fact I am," Ian said with a smile.

"I'm glad," she said softly as she again focused on the concert.

The concert ended and Raven sighed happily, not ready to move.

Ian watched the others leave but made no move to get up. His leg was asleep but he didn't want to disturb Raven. Several minutes later he looked at her and said, "Why don't we go get a drink?"

"If you wish." She sat up and looked around. Most of the people had departed and the only sounds were the roadies striking the stage. "We should pack up and leave anyway." She began to pick up and put things away, feeling a little awkward for having stayed so long with her head on his shoulder -- although she had enjoyed it. "There's something special about the mountains at night. Even on a holodeck." She spoke a little quickly, trying to cover up the silence "Thank you for coming with me to the concert."

Ian looked at her for a moment and smiled. "I had a great time," he said to her. "I really enjoy spending time with you, Raven."

Raven looked at him for a moment, assessing his words, then she smiled. "I enjoy spending time with you, too," she said quietly.

Ian looked at her again and smiled. Without really thinking about it, he stepped closer and kissed her.

Raven hadn't expected the kiss. She put a hand on his chest, surprised for a moment. Then she smiled.

"I'm so sorry," Ian said a moment later. "I don't know what came over me."

Although the kiss had been a pleasant surprise, his apology was not. Raven took her hand off his chest as if she'd been scalded and turned away from him. "No problem," she said as she picked up the hamper and blanket. Without facing him, she called for the arch. "Computer, end program." Was he really sorry he'd kissed her? She felt her cheeks burn as she let her hair fall across them to hide her face. "Thank you again, Ian. I... had fun."

Ian looked at her for a moment, trying to figure out what had just happened. "Raven, wait," he called, running to catch up to her. "I didn't mean it like that."

Raven kept her back to Ian and counted to ten while she got herself under control. She was so busy controlling her own emotions that she wasn't paying any attention to his. When she had her emotions in check she turned. "It's okay, Ian. You're sorry you kissed me. I understand." It wasn't the first time and it probably wouldn't be the last.

"That's not what I meant," Ian said to her. "I didn't want to force you into something you didn't want."

"I'm a big girl, Ian. If I didn't like it, I would have said something," she said with a hint of exasperation. This was not turning out well. Right now, she just wanted to go back to her room and have a bowl of chocolate...something.

'How can I make it up to you?" he asked, stepping closer to her.

"It's okay. You don't nee to make it up to me," she assured him. She could, however, hear the chocolate calling to her...

"Please, Raven," he said, moving closer and grabbing her hand. "I don't want the evening to end like this."

Why did she seem to be a disaster magnate? She asked herself. She squeezed his hand. "I'm sorry, Ian. It's not your fault."

"Yes it is," he said grabbing her other hand and squeezing both of them. "I shouldn't have reacted like that."

Raven chuckled in spite of herself. "Believe it or not, I tend to have this sort of luck."

"Then let me have a chance to make it up to you," he told her. "Just name it."

She shook her head. "We can call it even. I made you experience Woodstock."

Ian laughed and looked at her. "I still think you owe me for that one," he said to her. "Although I think it would have been more interesting if we would have gotten fully into the role," he added, squeezing her hands again.

Raven shook her head, taking on an air of primness. "There are certain things I don't like to do in public. And they did a LOT of things in public." Just thinking of some of those 'things' made her cheeks turn pink. She peeped up at him. "Okay, I probably do still owe you for that one." She was starting to get some very distinct impressions coming from Ian. "You do know I'm part Betazoid, right?"

"No, I didn't know that," Ian said to her. "It's okay though. I have nothing to hide."

"Good. I'll try not to pry." She stood there for a moment, watching him. "I need to recycle the basket and blanket. Someone else will be coming to take their turn on the holodeck." Part of her still wanted chocolate, but another part of her was getting other ideas, so it was definitely time to leave.

"Are you ready to call it a night or did you still want to get a drink?" Ian asked.

"Whatever you want." They were still standing on an empty holodeck holding hands. She was torn, wanting to have a drink with him and to go hide in her quarters. "I owe you, remember?"

"The lounge or my quarters?" Ian asked her.

"Yes," she said impishly.

Ian looked at her for a moment and smiled. "That's not much of an answer," he said to her. "Is that a pilot way to get rid of me?"

"No," she said, letting go of his hands and picking up her basket and blanket. "It's a way of saying is either one is fine with me."

"My quarters it is then," he said with a smile. "Would you like to go straight there or do you have something else to do first?"

Raven returned his smile. "I'm all yours for the evening."

Ian nodded and led her out of the holodeck and walked to the nearest turbolift. "What kind of food do you like to eat?"

"It depends for what," she answered. She had a lot of things she liked to eat, depending on the time of day and the course in question.

"What do you like to eat for dinner?" Ian asked her.

"To be honest I'm not very picky. I like soup, pasta, meat." She gave him an impish look. "I'm a big fan of dessert."

"I think you and I will get along just fine," he said, laughing softly as he stepped into the turbolift.
