Wilhelm just got done writing letters of regret and sorting through some personal effects of some of the Starfleet personnel that was stationed on Exeter and found a small rectangular box. Scanning the ID on it Wilhelm knew who to give it too. Wilhelm thought, "Well I was meaning to stop in and say 'hello' anyways."

Making his way up the Station Wilhelm arrived at Captain Johnson's office and hit the chime. Hearing an answer he went in.

Anna set down the PADD she was reading and looked up surprised to she the Colonel standing there. "Colonel, what can I do for you today?" She asked.

Erring on the side of caution Wilhelm said, "Well I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by and say 'hi'. However, I do have an official function here as well." Wilhelm said as he gently set the small box on the Captain's desk along with a letter addressed to Anna. "I'm so sorry this didn't arrive sooner...." Wilhelm said with a dour look.

Anna swallowed hard and looked at the desk, "Did he not have any other family that this should be sent to?" She asked trying to hide the shaking behind her voice.

"He does and all the other effects were sent there but these were addressed to you...If you want to open them in private I will certainly oblige you." Wilhelm said with a sad yet concerned voice.

Anna shook her head and opened the envelope and started to read the letter. She sat down behind her desk and her eyes began to tear. After a few moments she folded the letter again and put it back in the envelope and reached for the box to open it.

Wilhelm saw Anna open the box and saw a faint glow. "Fire Emeralds," Wilhelm muttered, "Very beautiful..."

It was a necklace with matching earrings. Anna sat staring at it for a moment and reached out to touch them. Tears fell more freely down her cheek. She closed the lid and looked at von Hackleberg, "Thank you for delivering this for me."

"Definately not a problem. If you ever need anything just stop on by. My door is always open."

Anna cleared her throat and wiped the tears from her face. "Was there anything else I can help you with today?" She asked.

"Sadly no. Just stopped by to say 'hi' and deliver that. However, some of the lads and I are getting together in the Semper Fi Lounge later tonight if you care for the company of some wild marines." Wilhelm said with a wolfish grin.

"I'll think about it." Anna said honestly but she didn't meet his eyes.

"Well, I do believe I shall take my leave I got 20 others things to deliver to different females from Parino...I swear that man went out with half the station." Wilhelm said with a chuckle as he headed for the door. Turning back, "My condolences Anna. He was a good pilot and friend." Wilhelm finished and turned and left.
