Mission:
On Typhon Station
Location: Starbase Typhon > Deck 12 > Semper Fi Lounge
ON:
Yuri slammed against a corridor as he blocked a punched from a marine before knocking him back into the awaiting madness inside the lounge. His Ensign, though not heavily bruised, but torn next to shreds was thrown out and Chief Powell followed suit, throwing last minuet punches as the one man Yuri came to get was now on his way to his transport. The Chief, being help by Yuri and the Ensign was very intoxicated as the three of them made it to the hanger bay.
The pilot moved down the ramp and took Yuri spot help the chief inside. Slamming himself into his seat, Yuri called for the computer to patch him into sickbay.
=/= Sickbay here. =/=
=/= Yes, I’m Lieutenant Sidorov, Chief Sec/Tec onboard the Blackhawk. I’m having a Chief beamed directly to your sickbay, who’s on duty onboard the ship? =/=
The pilot then rushed to his seat as the transporter lifted off, and headed towards the USS Blackhawk.
=/= I am sir. =/=
=/= Good, I’d be there to check on him later. =/=
=/= Yes sir. =/=
Yuri rubbed his jaw and touched his noise to see if it was broken. Luckily, it wasn’t, but someone got a few good hits off of him.
Woken up by the noise and not in the best of moods M'Eow Purr entered the room. The Caitian looked around and growled. "What is going on here?!" she demanded.
Security forces began to rush in from all over the starbase as a well organized response from Starbase security was called upon. Marines, starting to see the error in their ways, either walked off, or threw their hands up in compliance as several were arrested and others continued their struggle.
M'Eow got in between those struggling and pushed them away from each other. "You're the worst disciplined unit of Marines I've seen since the Cardassian wars!" Some caught a glimpse of M'Eow's rank insignia and started straightening up, informing the others.
The Caitian turned towards the security officer who appeared to be in charge. "Report."
Fannin had worked his way down the bar with his drink to watch the action, he saw the arrival of the Caitian, it didn't look pretty either.
Captain Rodrigo Ramos was NOT happy. He had received a message concerning HIS Marines, being in a bar fight. Apparently things were more out of hand then he thought. As he got to the doors of the Semper Fi, he could hear the commotion and violence going on inside. As he saw the Marines being rounded up he bellowed at the top of his lungs. "ANYONE WHO WEARS THE MARINE GREEN ABOARD THE BLACKHAWK WILL CEASE AND DESIST THIS INSANITY NOW!" He waited about fifteen seconds, and seeing that most of the Marines were allowing themselves to be subdued, he snagged the nearest Security person he could find.
"I am the new CO for these Marines aboard the Blackhawk. I want them to be thrown into the Brig there, and will sign any waivers or forms I have to. I am going to take care of the disciplinary action for them, and I want to speak to whoever is in charge of Security here, NOW." Without waiting for a reply, he turned back to see that there were still a few Leathernecks resisting arrest.
"All Marines that do not submit to the authorities NOW, will find themselves doing the dirtiest, nastiest, most undesirable jobs for the duration of the Blackhawk's next mission. AM I CLEAR?" Rodrigo dodged a drink, and heard a voice yell back, "And just who the hell do you think you are giving Marines orders?"
Ramos calmly walked up to the individual who had questioned him, and saw the confident sneer fade into panic, as the female Marine realized just how bad she had screwed up. "I am your new Commanding Officer aboard the Blackhawk." Raising his voice one last time, he continued. "ALL MARINES who were involved here will be confined to the Brig aboard the Blackhawk until 0001 tomorrow morning. Once released you will prepare for the Command Inspection that starts at precisely 0500. If you fail the inspection, you WILL receive a demotion. You WILL lose shore leave privileges indefinitely. And YOU WILL CURSE THE DAY YOU WERE BORN!!! AM I CLEAR?"
The last of the Marines settled down, and shamefacedly submitted to the Security forces aboard the station. Fuming, Rodrigo looked around for the Security team Leader, or whoever was in charge. He was going to ensure that HIS Marines were disciplined quite severely, and he was going to do it himself.
LT Cole Russo had entered the Semper Fi lounge during the Marine Captain tirade and seeing every thing was in hand let the man take care of business. His subordinate had informed him of Ramos' demands and was ready to transfer custody of problem marines to him when the Captain arrived at his side. Handing him a PADD with a standard prisoner transfer form on it for a thumb print from the Captain. "I assume you want to take custody of this riff-raff?" Cole said.
Ramos sighed. "Not really, but they are my headache before they are anyone else's. I am just getting here, and already have to hand out demotions and disciplinary actions like candy. Today started out as such a good day......"
"Tell me about it," Cole Said. "But, hey you saved me 2 hours paperwork. It looks like they woke up Colonel Purr, I'm glad I'm not a marine tonight."
Rodrigo looked around and then spotted the Lt. Colonel. 'great,' he thought to himself, 'just what I DIDN'T need.' "I guess I better go and sort this out now," as he finished signing the transfer order.
M'Eow, who wasn't wearing a uniform as she had just come out of her little sleeping corner (since she didn't sleep in a bed) and was just sporting her tiger-pattern fur instead of clothes, approached Ramos. "Are those your Marines?" she asked, clearly annoyed. Her Caitian ears were listening for any further trouble. She heard one of the Corporals muttering silent curses against Ramos, turned her head and roared. "Silence!"
Fannin finished his drink, with the arrival of several Marine commanders and just about all of the security staff the entertainment was coming to an end for the evening.
Kran sat back and shook his head, "Well that was entertaining and I managed to stay out of it this time. Commander Johnson would have my head if she found me in the brig." He said as he finished his tankard and turned to watch.
Ramos swallowed his anger a little and then responded, "Yes Ma'am, those are my Marines. I had not realized that the discipline of the Marines I am taking command of was this bad, but I assure you that such an incident will NOT happen again."
He gestured to the Marine Corporal, whom he had also heard grumbling. "Corporal, if I understand you correctly, I do believe you are entertaining mutinous thoughts. Don't try to deny it, I am well aware of the nature of your thoughts, as well as having heard your grumbling. You will report to me tomorrow, immediately following the Command Inspection. You will be doing whatever I need done, whether it is running messages to another department, cleaning the head, or even standing 24 hour guard duty over the Armory. You will do so in addition to your regular duties, and this will be for the next 20 days. Am I clear?" Rodrigo took in his look of shock and fear, as what he said sank in. "First off though, you and I am going to be clear on one thing. I am in command. Not you. Not anyone else. If I so much as THINK that you are going around spreading malcontent or rubbish, I. WILL. END. YOU. This unit is undisciplined, and I am going to change that. Dismissed."
He turned back to the Lt. Col. "Was there anything else Ma'am? I do have a group of apes that need to be punished and taught the meaning of military bearing and military discipline."
"You could start by explaining why this excuse for a military unit has gotten out of hand like this in the first place", M'Eow said. "I don't exactly like to be woken up to the sound of bar furniture being smashed against people. If they want a fight, they should go to the holodeck. I'll even be their opponent if they can't find volunteers." She grinned, showing her fangs.
"First off, I just reported in today. I already have the whole unit up for Command Inspection tomorrow morning bright and early. I will be handing out appropriate punishments, as well as revoking their shore leave and other privileges for the whole detachment, until further notice."
"Get me their detachment commander, or if that's you their previous detachment commander. I need to have a talk with that person", M'Eow responded.
"Well, considering that person is no longer living, that might be a problem, Ma'am. He was killed in action, during their last mission."
"I see", M'Eow replied. "I hope I won't have to see them here brawling again. You may proceed."
"Thank you Ma'am. I will ensure that it doesn't happen again. If there is anything else you need, just let me know." He waited for a few seconds, and then turned to walk away, to take charge of his Marines.
